Forth Valley Advocacy has a small committed team of staff and volunteers operating across a large region.  We have passion and enthusiasm for what we do and are looking for like-minded people to join us.

We offer great experiences and opportunities for those looking to expand their knowledge and skills or wanting to give something back to their community.

VOLUNTEER

Along with our employed Advocacy Workers, FVA also recruits and trains volunteer advocates.

Volunteers work out in the community and allow our employed Advocacy Workers to concentrate on more complex issues.  Our volunteers come into their own when people have longer-term support issues such as when people are:

• Isolated and somewhat institutionalised
• Lacking the support of a trusted friend or relative to help them communicate with others
• Vulnerable and less able to express their needs and wishes

EXPENSES

All agreed expenses incurred whilst volunteering with FVA are fully reimbursed.
